Web Call Back for Website Design

Friday, February 29, 2008

For a small business, good website design doesn't just mean creating a meaningful user experience or driving lots of traffic. There needs to be a call to action on your site in order for people to easily purchase your products or services. Getting potential customers to your site is one thing, but then you need to actually close the deal and this can be done with a web call back button.

RingCentral offers this click-to-call feature with every plan. This feature allows you to place a button on any webpage, email, and online ad or form so that people—at no cost to them—can call you with just one click of their mouse. Once a reader clicks on the button they will be connected directly to your business while you maintain complete control with call screening and customizable answering rules.

Adding this click-to-call-me button can increase customer calls and give people a more expedient way of buying what you're selling.

Business Long Distance Learning

Monday, February 25, 2008

In today's fast-paced world, it is important for small business owners to maximize their customer base by hiring smart and talented people wherever they can get them. This means that the small business landscape is becoming increasingly more diverse, with hired talent living all over the world. In many cases, these people are working remotely instead of being based in one central office. A greater emphasis has been placed on business long distance learning and training for team members who may not be locally stationed.

Virtual PBX phone systems are making distance learning an easier, more viable option for enhancing remotely located employees. RingCentral offers many sophisticated virtual PBX features that allow you to customize your telecommunications to fit your specific needs. Record calls and send them in email form to employees who may have missed them. Send a fax online to any email inbox so employees can view contracts and templates from wherever they are, even from their smartphone. For company-wide meetings, you can conference in as many incoming calls as you like from anywhere.

Because the system is virtual, you can manage it all right from your account homepage. RingCentral helps you build a unified team even if its members are geographically scattered.

Additional Minutes

Thursday, February 21, 2008

When selecting a phone system for your small business, it is necessary to consider the number of minutes you will need. With some plans, if you go over your allotted minutes, you are heavily penalized. Business is unpredictable, and you shouldn't be punished for needing additional minutes.

RingCentral offers low rates for additional minutes you use, because booming business and higher call volume shouldn't be penalties. Each of the four calling plans is packaged with a set number of free minutes included. When you go over these minutes, there is no double billing, and your purchased extra minutes can rollover for 12 months. The bigger the package, the cheaper the rate for any additional minutes you may need to purchase.

Don’t be surprised by a high bill when you go over your minute usage. You shouldn't have to play a guessing game when trying to figure out the minutes your company will need.

No Double Billing

Monday, February 18, 2008

Double billing for minutes on your phone can be an unfortunate, yet common, practice among big phone companies. You expect your bill to be a certain amount, but when it arrives you're surprised that the cost is doubled.

RingCentral doesn’t double bill for minutes. A forwarded call consists of two connections: an inbound call to your RingCentral number and an outbound connection to the phone you used to answer the call. Other companies charge for each of these connections separately; RingCentral only bills you for one minute of a connected domestic call. For example, a company advertising 2.9¢ per minute would actually charge you 5.8¢ for every minute of talk time, or 58¢ for a 10 minute conversation. On the other hand, RingCentral advertises 3.9¢ per minute for the Business Premium plan and subscribers will pay 39¢ for a 10 minute domestic call. With RingCentral, you know exactly what you’ll pay. So even if another company advertises a lower rate, be careful because practices such as double billing can actually end up costing you more.

Forget complicated bills and hidden fees; your small business can't afford to not know what to expect on your monthly phone bill.

Caller Identification

Wednesday, February 13, 2008

Caller identification is a very important feature of modern business phones. In today's world, you can't afford to waste valuable time dealing with spam and misdirected calls. Automatically filter these calls with Call Controller.

Call Controller, available with any RingCentral plan, allows you to block unwanted callers by setting up rules that permit important calls to always reach the right person. You can accept, reject, or send the call to voicemail with a simple click of a mouse. With the Call Controller program, you will be able to see the caller's number right on your computer screen.

For added convenience, you can also reply to calls with text-to-audio. Just type a quick reply that will be translated to audio and read to your caller by a computer-generated voice. This feature is especially helpful when you are on a call and have another important call coming through. A simple computer-read message of: “John, I see you’re calling. I am on the other line and will return your call ASAP,” can save a business opportunity!

These sophisticated caller identification options are possible through RingCentral’s virtual phone system, which can be adapted to your specific needs and is easy to manage right from your desktop.
